The objective of this programme is to apprise Directors of a listed corporation and its subsidiaries, including Senior Management, of the purpose, rationale, contents, and implications of these Guidelines. Reference will be made to relevant sections of the Companies Act 2016, Bursa’s Main Market Listing Requirements, the Capital Markets & Services Act 2007, Section 17A of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009, the updated Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance 2021, and the Corporate Governance Guide 4th Edition on how group-wide governance practices may be applied.
