The upcoming Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) Fair this month will spotlight innovative sustainability-driven projects within the tourism industry. MATTA president Nigel Wong said the association has collaborated with various stakeholders including government agencies, sustainability leaders and tourism associations, to empower local tourism stakeholders and contribute to the national sustainability agenda. The fair will also showcase community-based tourism initiatives and efforts towards geopark conservation.
