Repsol Oil and Gas Ltd (Repsol) and SEA Hibiscus Sdn Bhd (SEAH) have yet to settle their overdue state sales tax (SST), said Sabah’s Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun. Masidi had previously said the state government will cancel the companies’ work permits if they fail to settle the overdue SST, amounting to RM97 million by 21 July. Work passes to operate in Sabah for both companies will be terminated by 1 October should they fail to settle the SST.
