CIMB Group Holdings Bhd has set up a baseline for its Scope 3 financed emissions, which will support its target to become net zero by 2050. The baseline covers the group’s wholesale, commercial and consumer segments in its two largest markets - Malaysia and Indonesia. By establishing the baseline, CIMB has set the first round of 2030 climate targets for the thermal coal mining and cement sectors.
